Car Rental Process

Reservation

Reservations can be made via the web or by phone.

Items to Confirm at the Time of Reservation

  • Name
  • Contact phone number
  • Departure and return dates and times
  • Desired car model
  • Number of passengers
  • Information about insurance coverage
  • Use of child seats
  • Pets accompanying
  • Payment method (credit card or cash)

Notes for Reservation

  • Children under the age of 6 are legally required to use a child seat. If a child under 6 years old is traveling, a car rental cannot be provided without a child seat.
  • When traveling with pets, they must be kept in a cage, which should not be removed from the seat to avoid touching any part of the vehicle. If repair or deodorization is needed due to odors, dirt, or damage after use, a downtime compensation fee of 20,000 yen will be charged.
  • If smoking occurs inside the vehicle, a downtime compensation fee of 20,000 yen will also be charged.

Cancellation Fees

  • 100% on the day of departure
  • 50% 2 days before departure
  • 20% 3 to 6 days before departure
  • No charge if more than 7 days before departure

Procedure on the Day of Departure (Handover Procedure)

If you have done a speed check-in through the web reservation, it takes about 10 minutes until the handover.

Transfer from New Chitose Airport

We will pick you up at our designated location at New Chitose Airport. Since there is no counter in the airport, please call us upon your arrival.
The drive from New Chitose Airport to our store takes about 5-10 minutes.

Handover Procedure

The procedure takes place at the store.

  • Presentation of Driver’s License
    ※If there are multiple drivers, all drivers must present their licenses.
    ※If using an international driving license, you must also present your home country’s driving license, passport, and translation.
  • Confirmation of Key Terms and Insurance
    Please sign the contract and consent form after reviewing them.
    ※For customers who have confirmed these details during the web reservation, this explanation will be omitted.

Checking Dents and Scratches

Check any damages on the vehicle with our staff.
Confirm the location of the car’s navigation system, ETC, and receive a brief explanation of the vehicle.

Departure

Return Procedure

The return procedure takes about 10 minutes.
We will transport you back to New Chitose Airport. It takes about 5-10 minutes to drive from our store to New Chitose Airport. Please return the car in time for your flight.

Refuel to Full at a Nearby Gas Station

Please refuel to full before returning the car at a nearby gas station. A charge of 10,000 yen will be applied if the tank is less than half full, and 5,000 yen if more than half but less than full.

Staff Check for Damages

Our staff will inspect the vehicle for any damages.

Final Payment

Any additional charges will be settled at the time of return. Please return the car by the agreed time and date.
If the return is delayed, please contact the store immediately.

Transfer to New Chitose Airport

After returning the rental car, we will provide transportation to New Chitose Airport.
Please ensure you haven’t left anything behind.
