Accidents, Breakdowns, and Traffic Violations
In case of an accident:
- Call 119 and provide aid to any injured parties.
- Move the rental car to a safe location.
- Notify the police about the accident.
- Once the report is filed, proceed with obtaining an accident certificate (necessary for compensation claims).
- Call the rental office at 0123-25-5417.
Notes:
- Please note that settling with the other party directly may invalidate your eligibility for compensation.
- Regardless of the extent of damage or whether there is a counterpart, the incident will be treated as an accident, and the above procedures must be followed.
- Accidents caused by speeding and other violations are not covered by compensation.

If you notice any anomalies or experience any issues while using the vehicle, please contact the rental office. If it is outside business hours, call the number provided in the rental documents.
Cases requiring out-of-pocket expenses:
The following cases will be fully chargeable to the customer:
- Keys locked inside the vehicle
- Spare tire replacement due to a puncture
- Unlocking a stuck handbrake
- Dead battery
- Running out of gas (fuel costs are settled locally)
- Towing
- Refilling coolant
Traffic Violations:
For violations such as failure to stop or entering a no-entry area, please follow the procedures directed by the police officer.
If a violation is detected by an automated speed enforcement system, the charge will be billed later.
Parking Violations:
Even short-term illegal parking is subject to enforcement.
Enforcement has become more stringent.
Drivers who receive parking violations must follow these steps:
At the time of vehicle return, we will verify documents such as the “Traffic Violation Notification” and a “Payment Slip/Receipt” with a date of receipt. If you fail to present these documents, a parking violation penalty of 25,000 yen will be charged.
