About Insurance and Compensation
Is it mandatory to subscribe to insurance?
Basic insurance coverage is included in the base fare. Subscribing to optional insurance plans is voluntary. For more details, please check the insurance and compensation content.
Are there instances where the insurance coverage does not apply?
Coverage does not apply in cases that qualify as exclusions under the insurance policy, such as failing to contact the police or our company. For more details, please check the insurance and compensation content.
About Licenses and Usage Qualifications
Can beginners who have just obtained their driver’s license rent a car?
Yes, cars can be rented to beginners who will need to display a beginner’s mark.
Is there an age limit?
There is no age limit.
Can I rent a car with a provisional license?
No, you cannot rent a car with a provisional license, nor can a car rented by a licensed driver be driven by someone with a provisional license.
What if there are multiple drivers?
Please present a valid driver’s license for all drivers.
What are the ways to make a reservation?
You can easily make reservations online or by phone.
Can I rent a car with an international driving license?
Yes, you can rent a car with an international driving license. When using it, you need the following three items:
- The original of an international driving license based on the Geneva Convention, or the original of a foreign driving license plus an official Japanese translation.
- Passport.
- A telephone number that can be used for calls within Japan.

Can I change my reservation?
Please contact the store by phone to change your reservation.
Can I cancel my reservation?
If you wish to cancel, please call the reservation center or the store where you made the reservation. Note that reception hours at the store are only within the car rental operating hours. Cancellations more than 7 days in advance can be made via the website or app. For more details, please check the page on reservation cancellations and changes.
About Vehicles
Are child seats available?
Child seats are available as an option. Please install the child seat yourself.
Can I use ETC (Electronic Toll Collection)?
Yes, ETC can be used, but we do not rent out ETC cards. Please prepare your own ETC card.
Can I bring pets along?
Pets can be brought along only if certain conditions and precautions are followed.
Can I smoke in the car?
Only electronic cigarettes like iQOS are permitted.
Are studded tires available?
In winter, all vehicles are equipped with studded tires as standard.
Can someone other than the contract holder perform the departure and return procedures?
If the contract holder cannot be present, a change of contract holder is necessary in advance. For more details, please contact the store at 0123-25-5417.

What is needed on the day of use?
A driver’s license for all those who will drive. For more details, please check the page on international licenses.
Can I return the car to a different store (one-way rental)?
We generally do not accept one-way rentals.
During Use
Do Ineed to report if I only slightly scratch the car?
Even minor scratches are treated as accidents. Please follow the proper procedures.
What should I do if the car breaks down?
If there is a vehicle breakdown or malfunction, please contact the store at 0123-25-5417.
What should I do if I park illegally?
Please appear at the police station noted on the confirmation tag, complete the required procedures, and pay any fines. Present the documents and receipts received from the police at the time of return.
About Return Procedures
What should I do if I want to extend the rental time?
Please contact the store at 0123-25-5417 to check if a schedule change is possible. There may be cases where it is not possible depending on the booking status. Please settle the extension fee at the time of return.
If I return the car earlier than planned, will I get a refund?
No refund will be provided for the difference.
